Andy Hardy, CEO of UHCW NHS Trust, recently hosted a Coffee Morning at St Cross to thank volunteers for their service to the hospital.

Andy said "Every time I come to Rugby I am impressed by the high regard that the people of Rugby have for both the hospital and the support it receives from the Friends of St Cross and the Hospital Volunteers". 

Volunteering during the pandemic

We have a number of opportunities for volunteers to support the hospital during the pandemic! All new volunteers must complete an application form and give permission for a DBS Check which is required for both volunteers working in the hospital or as a trustee.

The Friends are on the search for more volunteers

The Friends of St Cross have some 200 volunteers who are the unsung heroes of the charity and whose personal contact with patients is one of the things that makes a real difference to the patient experience at the Hospital of St Cross.
