On the 21st April Rugby’s Mayor attended a Flower Arranging Demonstration at Castle Farm, Woolscott.
The event, which celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday and raised £655 for the Friends of St Cross, was attended by over 50 supporters of the Charity who saw a video tour of the Castle Farm gardens produced by Mark Homer with photos by Jamie Gray. This was followed by flower arranging demonstrations by Norman Clark and Anne-Marie Robinson who finished the day with a ‘Flower off’ when the two florists made different styles of arrangements using the same flowers. Guests enjoyed an afternoon tea with scones donated by ISS, the catering contractors at the Hospital of St Cross. The Charity would like to thank all who supported the event and in particular Tracey Lennard and her fundraising team!
