We are aiming to raise at least £65,000 so that we can continue making a difference for patients attending the Hospital of St Cross and the NHS Community Service in Rugby. We will publish, here and on social media, some reminders of the support you have enabled us to provide and some of the donations we receive towards the Appeal. Due to the pandemic the appeal was not launched until 1st October 2020 and will run until December 2021. Click here to donate!!

The latest draft floor plan for the new Blood Taking Service was shared with the Main Committee on the 13th July 2015.

The new unit will be located in the 'old Mulberry Ward' with an entrance which is near the chapel and Brookfield House.

It will have 8 cubicles which will improve the patient flow as well as having a children's area and separate seating for patients who are required to stay in the unit for specific types of tests that need a number of samples to be taken over a period of time.

On seeing the plans and receiving an update on the project plan the Committee approved requests for a further £30,000 to be spent on new phlebotomy chairs, trolleys and other items of equipment for the new unit.
