Celebrating a stalwart volunteer
Mary Lock was a volunteer with The Friends for over 30 years when she passed away at the grand age of 100 years old. Mary is pictured with a few of the many congratulatory cards she received including those from from King Charles, The Friends of St Cross and UHCW Trust.
Fundraising volunteers
Two of the Friends Fund Raising Committee recently got together with the person who recruited them to celebrate the 15th anniversary of them joining the Charity.
Tea Bar Volunteers
Maureen West and Sally Bishop have been volunteers with the Friends of St Cross for over fifteen years and are due to be recognised for this at the Charity’s AGM in June 2015. Like so many of our volunteers they regard the work they do as a way of giving back to the hospital which has done so much for them and their families.
Help Desk volunteers
Two Help Desk volunteers who have completed fifteen years service with the Friends of St Cross are to be recognised at the Charity’s AGM in June 2015. They join a group of thirty others who have reached this milestone and are still volunteering at the hospital!
