Volunteering with The Friends of St Cross
New volunteers are always welcome to provide services in the hospital as well as working behind the scenes of the charity. An overview of current services is included in this Application Pack which can be downloaded and completed using MS Word.
- We ask for a minimum commitment of 40 hours service over a 6 month period.
- Most of our services are operated on a weekly or fortnightly rota.
- Short work experience oportunities, of one day to a week duration, at St Cross are managed by the Universtiy Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire Trust. You can find out more about this opportunity on this page of the Trust website.

What can you expect from us?
You will receive appropriate training and be fully supported by the team of Service Co-ordinators and the Board of trustees.
Volunteers are provided with uniforms. Examples are shown in some of the photos on the following pages.
Volunteer Recognition
At the 2022 AGM we celebrated over 500 years of service when a group of volunteers received long service awards having completed more than 10 years of service.
