We are aiming to raise at least £65,000 so that we can continue making a difference for patients attending the Hospital of St Cross and the NHS Community Service in Rugby. We will publish, here and on social media, some reminders of the support you have enabled us to provide and some of the donations we receive towards the Appeal. Due to the pandemic the appeal was not launched until 1st October 2020 and will run until December 2021. Click here to donate!!

We were pleased to report that some of the major work on the Phlebotomy Relocation Project commenced in September 2015

with the start of demolition of buildings that will make way for the entrance to the new unit. It is expected that works will complete by the end of November so that the new unit will be operational in December."

David Moon, Chief Finance & Strategy Officer at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, said “I’m delighted with the progress being made with the new Phlebotomy Unit. I would like to thank the Friends of St Cross for their hard work in raising money for the new unit, which will improve care for our patients in and around Rugby who need a blood test.”
