We are aiming to raise at least £65,000 so that we can continue making a difference for patients attending the Hospital of St Cross and the NHS Community Service in Rugby. We will publish, here and on social media, some reminders of the support you have enabled us to provide and some of the donations we receive towards the Appeal. Due to the pandemic the appeal was not launched until 1st October 2020 and will run until December 2021. Click here to donate!!

Another community group which has chosen to support The Friends, through the Mayor’s Charity, is the Shree Kaylan Yog Kendra which is the Indian community yoga group which meets at the Rugby Temple in Kimberley Road.

Several members of the group are pictured presenting a cheque for £151 to the Mayor Ramesh Srivastava and Councillor Kathryn Lawrence who is a Trustee of the Friends of St Cross. The group’s AGM was addressed by Desh Raj who emphasised the health benefits of yoga and in particular the breathing exercises which increase the flow of oxygen in the body.
